Your machines and materials, described correctly, everywhere.
GutenLex · Standard · CC BY 4.0 · REST API · MCP server
GutenLex is the open and semantic standard of print — becoming the backbone technology of the print and graphic-arts industry, and a new way of doing business. Suppliers are a vital part of the value chain of every printed product: systems, LLMs and AI agents configure everything from your building blocks.

Why join

Be the source, not a copy

Your presses, finishing lines, substrates and inks as canonical open terms — stewarded by you, published with attribution, instead of scraped and guessed.

Visible where decisions are made

PSPs, marketplaces, LLMs and AI agents configure printed products from the Standard's building blocks. Machines described there are part of every quote.

Free, open, yours to steward

Building-block registers are part of the open Standard: CC BY, Foundation-governed, no fee and no lock-in. You keep stewardship of what you make.

How it works
1

Apply — on approval you get your personal Steward workspace.

2

Claim your registers and propose your machines, substrates and materials, with technology link and core specification.

3

After review they are published in the Standard, attributed to your brand.
